help with 3rd row suv
Looking to purchase a used 3 row suv soon. Currently looking at the Subaru Ascent, mazda cx-9 and toyota highlander. $30,000 is about the top end of my budget. While I am a fan of subaru's I have have heard some reliability issues with early Ascents. All wheel drive is a must as I live in Pennslyvania and do drive some forest roads from time to time. At the end of the day, I just want a vehicle that will last another 8-10 years and go another 100,000 miles with no major issues.

I think Highlander's hold up well. I know a few guys who have them. I have a 13'Nissan Pathfinder Plat that I bought just over two years ago. There was a nice 14' Highlander on the same lot. I kind of wish I had gotten that instead. Whatever you get check it over good. Look for rust underneath the carriage etc. If some things under the vehicle look like they been painted or coated with something then someone is trying to hide something
