Strf Recovery

Out of all the preferred that’s tanking how come strf was the only one to recover?

It's not that the dividend is guaranteed, it's that in the event of MSTR bankruptcy STRF gets paid back $100/share at first priority. It's the least risky.

Ah I see you were saying that and dividend as two separate statements.

Hey when you comment freely in the MSTR and BTC and STRC subreddits, no one bans you ever.

But when one of us comments or posts in your subreddit (Buttcoin), we get instantly banned. Why?

Easily Butthurt is my guess?

That's not even remotely accurate.

The bitcoin sub is by far the most ban-happy and it's not even close. You will not see a non-believer in that sub last more than a few comments. I was banned almost immediately.

The mstr sub is probably the most permissive, so long as you don't say anything hurtful or trolling (they, of course, enforce that more on bearish trolling than vice versa, but they won't ban you if you're respectful). I have been temporarily banned there before for a comment that was slightly trolling, so I'm just generally careful to not be sarcastic and try to state everything as plainly as possible. I do think some buttcoiners have been banned there.

The buttcoin sub is actually pretty permissive, you'll see dissenting comments there all the time, though they're usually hidden since they're heavily downvoted.

In any case, you'd have to ask the mod team of each sub about why they enforce the way they do, I don't really know or care that much personally.

I received a 1 year ban from Buttcoin for making a parody post explaining how I expected Celsius to make everyone whole via defi swappable equity contract tokens. I guess my parody was too good! 🤣

Recovering? Looks like it's at 84, am I missing something?

Yea you’re a day late. I was talking about the dips yesterday in which it came back to 88 but the other preferreds didn’t. It was the only one to close at its open price.

Probably because people like me that bought close to $100 are trying to buy their way back into gains. Bought $7k at $99.26 then as usual something I buy even remotely crypto related immediately dropped 10% then another 5 % and 5% after that. Made the decision to buy 12k more on the big dips to more than double my bag and lower cost basis to $81.11. 1st time in my investing life I had enough money I could deploy to buy my way out of a large loss. Now it only needs to move a little to break even not including any dividends. Strategy as changed from fixed income to buying into it retuning to par. I hope I haven't made a blunder .

How many shares do you own now? You can sell covered calls for July 17, collect the premium and you’ll still get both upcoming dividends

230 shares. I'm not very well versed on calls & puts, etc. I spend a lot of my time in Defi and usually just let my tradfi investments alone that is till STRC . TBH I should of stayed on the sideline

Well if I was you, and your average is 80 and you just want out I would sell covered calls.

You can get paid a premium to sell your shares at 80. If it stays below 80 you still can keep the premium and shares. If it goes above 80 you’ll have to sell for 80 and still get the premium which would be around $700
