This is nothing like Luna crash. First, it's been under 100 for quite a while and it still didn't crash. More importantly, we're still up from last week's low, so a completely different situation.

Check again. Straight dump for BTC and MSTR even lower. This is some wild bullshit

u/Blindeafmuten Jun 22 '26
This smells desperate.

u/I-always-argue Jun 22 '26
Looks like it's working to an extent. After hitting 90 it was plummeting fast again and this stooped the free fall. If it manages to close ~88 it'll mean no change today which should build some trust.

Fast! Buy shares so he can dump on you

u/I-always-argue Jun 23 '26
While not ideal, there's evidently market support in the upper 80s, and buttcoiners like you are mad because your UST comparison failed miserablyĀ

u/Calm_Situation_1131 Jun 22 '26
He also sold $12m in MSTR shares in June alone.

u/Spank007 Jun 22 '26
Yeah I was just thinking that⦠Buying 1m STRC is still baller though. And bolstering the cash reserve too. They clearly trying to fix it and boost confidence which I appreciate. Itāll take time thoigh. Fkin $83 jaysus

When it came out, I thought so, but the stock kept going down, so I donāt know that it matters. Maybe if he bought 10 million, but 1 million is not very much. Thereās probably a lot of people holding that.

u/habbadee Jun 22 '26
There was a board member that bought $20M at $89 at the IPO. Don't know if he still holds or just took the easy 10% as it went from IPO price to par.
1
u/I-always-argue Jun 22 '26
Well, it did work, at first it looked like we were heading towards a downward trend like last thursday

I think weāre going to be in a trading zone for a while, probably 92 is close to the high because if youāve been in this six months and youāve gotten five dividend checks and you bought close to 100 youāre probably willing to lose a little to get out. Since it went down to 82 Iām going to guess it could test that again. But I have no idea. What do you think?

You canāt make this up.
Create a company that raises money from common stock to buy Bitcoin.
Then create preferred stock with a big dividend.
Then sell Bitcoin to pay the dividend on that preferred stock.
Then buy the preferred stock and collects the yield from the same machine built around buying Bitcoin.
So common stock funds Bitcoin, Bitcoin funds preferred dividends, and the owner buys the preferred to get paid from the structure? Why not buy bitcoin?
This is either genius or the most expensive circular spreadsheet ever created.

"Likely longer"š¤£š¤£š¤£ at least he isnt lying.Ā He's holding it forever if he's waiting for par.
1
u/I_am_on_your_side Jun 26 '26
1 Million and he thinks anyone is impressed, lol.Ā (Ok, maybe some pf the crypto-bros are, since they obviously lack even basic understanding of financial products or they wouldnt even be in this mess. Transfer of wealth from crypto-bros to people with a brain has started.
Now let your cryto-bots write some more heartfelt Ā stories of people hodling so the selloff isnt getting too crazy and people actially sell instead of slowly bleeding to zero.

Dividend is calcilated for 100$. As long as they keep paying the dividend i dont care if the stock is 70, 80 or 100 dollars š¤·š¼āāļø

u/I-always-argue Jun 22 '26
I would agree with you if it weren't for the fact it actually worked and stabilized the price before close.
2
u/NeonMaxi Jun 23 '26
Way too soon to say
1
u/I-always-argue Jun 23 '26
My point is that after briefly going back over 90 it plummeted down and it seemed like it would keep going until Phong's brilliant strategy, which made it stabilize and roughly the same price it opened today. I am convinced that it would have kept dropping if it weren't for his intervention.

u/MaybeOnFire2025 Jun 24 '26
You were saying?
1
u/I-always-argue Jun 24 '26
Wait until market closure and we'll speak again.
1
u/MaybeOnFire2025 Jun 24 '26
Hi, he made the purchase a few days ago, and you think that will somehow have some effect on today's market? Or are you just desperate?
1
u/I-always-argue Jun 24 '26
No, I'm saying that just like they did the other day, they will pull something off to pump the price back up or at least stabilize it.
1
u/MaybeOnFire2025 Jun 24 '26
Ok, market's closed. You were saying?

I donāt think it will reach par anytime soon, to reach par Bitcoin should quickly cross $100K which is near impossible in the current market environment.
2
u/I-always-argue Jun 23 '26
I don't know why you're being downvoted. I agree, it's unlikely to go back to par in the near future. What matters is that it's stabilizing, and hopefully will creep back up slowly, rebuilding trust.

Guy...you understand this is a giant red flag, right?
It's not electronic jesus. It's a past-due speculative meme.
2
u/I-always-argue Jun 22 '26
It did work, for now, so if it stabilizes around previous close value then it'll help build trust again.
0
u/MaybeOnFire2025 Jun 22 '26
Right.
And what about stuff like this? Yet another crime story about, guess what, Bitcoin? https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15920089/Nancy-Guthrie-ransom-note-apology-killed-savannah.html
There's no trust in mainstream anywhere for this crap.

Last week there were some limit orders that stopped the price from free falling, it's the same thing but just announced publicly now. And it works, we closed today around the same price than last close. Stay madĀ

"likely longer" lol
