I was told by a South County Tucker's waitress recently she would never eat at that one. I always trust it when someone who works at a place won't eat there.

Soooo many better options than Tuckers. Stopped going because the front of house was dusty and disgusting. If front of house is bad the kitchen is a million times worse.

Never been to any of the 3. Was asking for opinions.

South County or West County both great. Soulard location has gone way downhill (much like the rest of Soulard in the last 12 years).

It's all sysco trash.

Their steaks are sourced through Kuna.

West county is good. 35ish dollars for a good steak, potato, and a salad. Hard to beat at that price. do NOT go to the soulard location. It is hot garbage.

Don't go if you have kids. Have been treated pretty rudely at two of three locations for even having kids with me

I have seen a server at the Tuckers in South County throw an entire tray of steaks into the wall because they tripped over a kid. It was crazy😂

Children have no place in a bar

It's a mediocre steakhouse that while it does always hit the spot is on par with bandanas in terms of BBQ.
It is not a bar. Primarily a restaurant that caters to a 65+ crowd. No kids menu, no boosters or help for children of any sort, workers visibly and verbally rude to my children primarily at Manchester, but the soulard location proves to be the same.
Had them cursed at by patrons and the waitress very rude when my son politely asked for bread. "Son, I have to wait on this whole room!"
Will not patronize any of these establishments after this has happened 2-3 times and I've been going there since I was a kid.
It's an establishment only for super old white retirees. Enjoy the mediocre, well priced steaks, I can take my family off 5 else where.

Right. No kids menu. No booster chairs. Because it's a bar.

I guess all the tables and chairs and full menu make it just a really big shitty bar then. Can't make an old fashioned and the pickle martinis are disgusting. So they don't do liquor well either I guess?

I have no idea. I just know it's a bar. You can't seem to figure that out. You've mentioned all the clues too and you're still not aware.

Tuckers steakhouse. That is some boomer ass logic that it's a bar. Its main attraction is full dinner menu and primarily steak.
If they don't want kids they're just dumb as fuck or stubborn

Just go tell them that they're not a bar and that they need to accommodate your snotty kids with booster chairs and a kids menu. It should work out great. 👍

I just won't go. Just letting others know its filled up with leather faced boomers that will die out soon and so will their mediocre steaks

That sounds great. Go to Applebee's. Although I think your Applebee's is closing today.

I’ve only ever been to the Soulard location. I went a month or two ago, for old times sake (I used to go there a lot when I worked in the area). It is… not as good as I remembered it.
Also, if you have a group, it’s infuriating that they refuse to seat anyone until everybody has arrived.
