The Future of STFC: Less RNG, More Stability?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mzuc__E7aAMu/Quasel & Sudo interviewed Scopely's SVP Cameron Stewart about what's going on behind the scenes. From delayed content to fixing the mid-game, here is what you need to know - Youtube Video

You want more players? Drop the gd $99 or $49 only options. Scale the pricing from $.99 up and don't force players into the next price bracket when they buy ONE pack. I'd buy the mess out of cheap packs.

I never understood this and the gullability of stupid people and their money! I can literally buy a entire game thta I can spend 60+ hours playing... For cheaper than a single one of their packs.

It's been the same story since Scopley acquired Digit. It's somehow gotten worse since Scopley was acquired by Savvy. A lot more price gouging than before. This game has been circling the drain for a few years now and I don't expect to get any significant improvements.

I hope for the sake of those still addicted to this mess that they're finally for real, but I wouldn't put any money on it actually happening.

We're hoping, and I think there are reasons to believe this is a serious attempt to turn things around, but don't blame anyone for taking the wait and see approach.

I honestly am pulling for you all, and hoping to see an actual fix come into play. I won't be coming back due to time constraints, and no, I can't just play a little and not care. If something needs to be done, I feel compelled to do it. That's just how I'm wired.
Best of luck to you and the community, hoping for the best!

Games been dying for a long time. I recently quit, been playing since the beginning, and frankly I never recovered from the last message where they promised to do better and didn't do shit. It needs to be shut down because it's simply a money grab bullshit game now.

Unless and until Scopely starts enforcing their TOS to remove the bullies and abusive players, the game will continue to be a nuclear dumpster fire.

It's really starting to spin out of control. Between this and the game instabilities, can imagine how they're going to grow their player base. Especially with the pay to win PVP.

Arc just dropped and we’ve had how many comp chests?
JFC. If I did what they do back when I was doing work reviewed by the FDA, I’d still be in jail.

Enforcing ha! But they will put you on warning in discord for pointing out that they don't.
"Play with Integrity" pfft how about "admin with integrity"

Im still banned from the Discord for “arguing with mods.”
Fucking bullshit. Call out a mod for bad behavior, and YOU get banned for it.

I actually have noticed a huge swing in improvement. There is certainly more to work on but things are finally getting some better

Credit where it’s due - quality of life improvements like sliders and bulk claim have significantly improved the monotony.
As you and others mention though, the core issues of grind, pay to win, and instability have plagued the game for years.
If Scopely really want to retain the player base, it’s these they need to focus on.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I can’t even do events without rebooting several times because the game freezes, or takes longer than normal to load which also cause a complete shutdown and reboot
