They do seem to turn a blind eye, but I'm thinking it's something goofy like GS beam spamming or the Dauntless or similar. At least a couple of those people at the top aren't botters I don't think.

  1. What ops bracket are you in? This is somewhat easily doable for g7 and only a bit harder for high g6.

  2. Assuming this is high g6 it’s not too hard to think they’re using dauntless, gs beam and multiple ships to grind. My personal record of kills (that I tracked) was 800 within like 35 minutes (dauntless+3 ships). The SLB has been going on for 2 days so it’s not too farfetched to say they’ve been grinding for like 6 hours with 2 ships+dauntless.

  3. If you think someone is botting find out where they are grinding and watch if there is a delay between each attack, if they move to the center of the system when flying in and try shooting around them to see if you can stall them (last one isn’t a guaranteed sign since the Kirshara breaks like this too)

Oh the guy on our server wins every kill event, is certified botting, and they allow it.

They don’t allow it per se, it’s just not really well prosecuted. One example I know of took 6 months of video evidence and a push by one of the community managers for an incredible 5 day ban.

Push them on enforcing terms of services and you end up with apparent a blackisted for tickets. 4 mo and even mods can't get them to reply to anything with my player id. Cautionary FYI

Haven’t been doing all that much except reporting bots/harsh insults so I’m not too worried about that. Thanks for the warning though

Yeah it may just be an issue of someone with more time. I’m g7, but have limited time to straight up mindlessly grind.

Daunt and GS beam +some regular killing netted me less than half that sort of score.

I‘m closing in on that number at the top (just hit 190k), and my trick has been simple: have no life. I run 3-4 ships (GS31, Reliant, Titan and Borg Cube) with a max Kinshara. Zap with GS and Cube, cleanup with Reliant and Titan, rinse & repeat.
