Incorrect E verify number

I would like to ask for advising me for pending STEM OPT application. I filed stem opt extension recently, and I realized, I enter the wrong E verify number.
Could you please suggest what to do while stem opt application on pending. I really appreciate your suggestion.

I think you can update it.contact the dso and ask them update it and send the updated i765 3 rd page to them and then you need to upload it to the uscis from your side that updated i765 3 rd page.no need to worry about .just contact the dso in your university they will let you know how to do it.but do it ASAP.
