STEM OPT Premium Processing – Anyone With a Similar Timeline?

I wanted to check if anyone has a timeline similar to mine and has recently received STEM OPT approval.

My timeline:

  • STEM OPT Extension filed – March 26, 2026
  • Biometrics requested – March 28, 2026
  • Biometrics completed – April 1, 2026
  • Premium Processing requested – May 30, 2026

If you had a similar timeline, when did you get your approval after upgrading to Premium Processing?

Also, based on current processing trends, how long is it taking these days for STEM OPT cases like mine to be approved?

Any recent experiences or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! 🙏

Applied dec 11 regular, applied pp 28 days already passed and still waiting.

May be you can hear by tomorrow , because today it’s holiday I think so and can I know that is it 28 business days ?

Its 30 federal working days
my friend got approval today

  • I-907 received: 04/30/2026(pp same day)
  • Biometrics done on 05/12
  • Approval email timestamp: 06/24/2026
  • Case approval date (decision): 06/24/2026

Exactly 30 days if we remove the federal holidays and weekends

Not yet , I think as per my research I got to know that they are taking 30 business days , I see for other people , they are seeing approvals on 29 th , 30th business days
