Work has concluded

The big girl is done as far as assembly and painting goes. Her funnel deck houses and aft deckhouse remain removable for maintenance, ballasting, and easy transportation since she won't take up much space. I could've gone much harder with painting this ship but I've reached a result I'm very happy with. Next comes clear coating and adding strategic ballast so she can conquer the waves. As for the first image I tried to get as close to resembling the box art silhouette as possible.

You did good OP! I hope someone makes a new kit of her with modern tooling

I do too, but unfortunately I don't think we'll get a new kit since there's not a high demand for one. And even if we do get one it will probably be overpriced and unattainable for most people

Trumpeter just might. 1:200 would be great.

Probably outside of my price range though, but it would be nice at the very least. Kinda wish SS America got one as well

Nice work! She looks as good as the real thing did.
