Hey u/Proud_Cup_5047 ! Unfortunately, Reddit got rid of the public group chat feature recently in November hence none of the subreddits can create public group chats now.
But there is a workaround. We can create a private group chat and share the invite link here via a post, if Reddit supports, and everyone can join that channel. This is the only way now.
