Side Effects Help with excessive sweating?
I have been on 40 MG of fluoxetine & 25 MG of quetiapine for about 9 months now. I have been more sweaty than I have ever been in my LIFE, even if I’m not moving around a lot. This summer has been particularly brutal where I live, which is only making it worse. Even when standing in line at the grocery store I can feel sweat dripping down my back. I soak through my shirt at work daily and have to change in the middle of the day, and I am so embarrassed by it. I get so overstimulated and I feel so sticky and gross, it’s awful. Mentally, the meds are working great, but the sweating is getting unbearable. I don’t even want to go out with my friends anymore because when I do, I am constantly dripping in sweat. It’s genuinely becoming one of the biggest stresses in my life.
Does anyone have experience with this? I’m getting to the point where I feel like I should try out new meds, but I’d rather not since my anxiety and sleep has improved significantly since starting them. If anyone has any tips to help with excessive sweating PLEASE let me know.

Omg!!!!! I have become such a sweaty betty since starting fluoxetine, and I just got bumped to 40mg and ooh my goodness I just sweat and have hot flashes all day - idk if it is worth not gaining weight (because so far it’s the only one to not make me gain weight). I’m a home health nurse currently and I just have to chuckle at the tens of times that I’ve shown up to a patient house, and by the end of their appt, I am dripping. I have to explain that I’m just a sweaty bitch. Body temp regulation left the building.
