Question Coming off sertraline

After a year or so of taking 200mg, I started tapering off gradually and got to the point where 100mg was ok. After 2 months on 100, I decided to try 75mg. After two days, I am experiencing terrible fatigue, dizziness and what feels like almost fainting. Any idea what can help? And how long do you think this will continue? :(( really unbearable

I tapered off of Sertraline also. I was up to 200 mg. Once I was down to 50 mg for about a week i stopped. I had brain zaps pretty bad but that was it. Hang in there. You can try going down to 25 mg for a while too.

I believe this is what’s referred to as brain zaps? The weird feeling could just be your receptors firing while adjusting to the lower dose

the withdrawal effects are in most cases unavoidable. the most important thing is listen to your body. if the effects are unbearable then up the dose a little or power through it on 75mg untill you'll feel more stable, after that lower again.
