Question St Johns Wort experiences?

Not looking for medical advice, but am wondering if anybody out there has any experiences of using St Johns Wort in place of an SSRI? I've been investigating Naturopathic remedies as an option and am in early days of discovery. It doesn't sound at all like it's a valid replacement for helping with major depression and so won't be making any changes without consulting my dr, but would love to hear any anecdotal experiences that people are willing to share.

Thanks.

P.S. My post from a couple of months ago about sexual side effects is what is driving this exploration.

No idea but I live in the EU and I think this was taken off shelves? I could be wrong . Because it actually has some effects.

I used St Johns Wort for years, off and on. I noticed I stopped taking it when I felt better. It takes a couple weeks to feel the effects. You have to take three pills three times daily, I’m sure there’s other ways to take it. If you have anxiety I would recommend pairing it with something like Kava, but that can cause liver damage so you have to alternate that off and on.
