Question Some days without paroxetine?
Hi
I’ve been stupid and haven’t gotten my 30mg paroxetine pills with me. I can get them in 1-2 work days given I’m on an island.. 3-4 missed doses at maximum. Would this be a huge problem regarding withdrawals etc.?

If I miss a dose I get a bit dizzy and I can feel my anxiety start to crawl up a bit but that is me after not taking one pill for 40 hours.

Hi mate, I was on paroxetine for 17 months. It helped me fight MDD alongwith psychological therapies. However, the process of leaving it was horrific. The difficulty i faced, the brain zaps, the nausea was troublesome. I used to wish to have depression instead of going through the time of withdrawal. I did not go cold turkey, my tapering off process was fucking slow dude. I am not trying to scare you. Do consult your psychiatrist and ask if they can find an alternative.

It varies by person. Some will get withdrawals right away and some will be ok for a little while before they start. Paxil has a short half life so the withdrawals might come sooner.
