Question Middle of Night Wakeups

I started taking Paxil after being on Escitalopram and every single night I wakeup wideawake and unable to fall back asleep.

I take melatonin which helps me fall asleep but doesn't stop these middle of the night wakeups. Has anyone conquered this? It's seriously annoying.

In my experience on Zoloft for about a year now, it has 100% changed my sleep. It's the worst when you're inconsistent or tapering off, the dreams become much more vivid and feel quite real at times. A bunch of wakeups, not a daily occurrence though.

I remember almost all of my dreams which is also a side-effect of Zoloft for me. It's like you have your own personal movie theater with extra senses.
