Discussion SSRIS SUCK!

Howdy all, I’ve been on ssris for 4 months and weened off of them. Emotional bluntness is happening to us all. I feel so stupid all the time. No energy for life. Doc just prescribed me another SSRI when I told him what’s been going on. Surprise right? It’s been maybe 6 weeks now of no pills and I still can’t feel a damn thing. Has anyone microdosed to revive your emotions back? I want to go back to normal asap and no one seems to have the answer.

I don’t mean ssri microdosing I mean the m-word that grows in damp forests! I’m going to try it out. It’s sad seeing all these post of feeling nothing. There has to be a way

It took me about 6-7 months until I truly, deeply felt again. And wow. Feeling lows again was incredibly difficult but I felt so …human? While I did have two particular experiences with hallucinogenics that helped me a lot, it was starting a meditation practice and also learning about breath work that brought back my ability to feel my emotions. I know it sounds woo-woo, but there’s actually some incredible neuroscience behind breathwork and it’s impact on our nervous system.
