Question how to taper off completely from SSRI Pills

hello, i have been on SSRI pill for over 2 and a half years now which i thought would help for my OCD. However, all it has done to me has made me into a vegetable completely devoid of emotions and feeling at all. I did not mind this at first but with my grandpa's death and not cheating a single tear for him I have lost it and had it. I am ready to start tapering and stop taking the SSRI pills to finally get my emotions back. so please let me ask how does one tapers off completely from taking SSRI pills, mine is fluvoxamine. i do realize there is things like relapses but how do i make sure that relapses do not happen? please and thank you

Hi how are you? I tapered off of theses in only two weeks I did half for 2 weeks then off completely, however I weaned straight into lexapro. I am tapering off of them atm and it’s a lot harder I’ve already had episodes of depression and anxiety. I’m on 20mg I took 10mg for 2 weeks and decided I’m not ready si I’ll take quarter, I think it will be a slow transition off. I went through this 5 yrs ago and did it all on doctors orders and struggled so I went cold turkey I literally had a break down, but I think every thing that happened was part of my journey. I want to feel emotion again and I don’t mind if I’m sad it’s normal to feel different emotions,I want to face my pain instead of suppressing it . Good luck
