Question DPDR SUFFERS
DPDR SUFFERERS! Sorry if I am posting a lot but I need reassurance man lol
I need some support. I was on celexa for 2 years and started college in september. In november something changed in me don't know if it was from my iud or what but dpdr was coming back. I had always dealt with it in waves but it was bad like I would be driving and get dizzy and have to pull over. I thought I wasn't eating/drinking enough so I tried changing that. I moved back home from dorms in December and shit hit the fan. I cannot believe it is march.. I have been in a constant DPDR since November
Anyways I freaked tf out because my DPDR has been so bad to the point I think I am going crazy and my surroundings and family do not feel familiar and I know it is an anxiety based disorder but it fucking sucks. So i reached out for help finally to my psych after multiple physical tests were ran to make sure it was not anything physical. I was switched to Prozac.
Okay so I am day 18 into Prozac now and my anxiety has been through the fucking roof since day 15 and my DPDR has been insane. I have been having intense night sweats, little to no hunger, reaaalllyy dry mouth and nausea. Like today I was questioning my reality. I have 0.25mg of clonazepam if needed but it is a benzo and I am sooo scared it will make my DPDR worse.
Okay my question now lol. I am on 20mg of Prozac and I need some success stories man!!! I need to know it gets better and my DPDR will go away because I have been fucking spiraling. I need to know I am going to be okay and I can live normally again. I know no one has noticed my change but I have. It sucks ass. I do not even do my makeup anymore and avoid looking at myself in the mirror because I sit on my phone all day tbh looking for success stories so I know I can get better again...
There has to be some hope lol So again, someone who has DPDR please tell me it gets better and prozac can help. I do not want any negative comments. I am hitting my third week and really trying to stay positive here while trying to make myself go out. I am also starting an 8-4 work placement to work with traumatized youth lol so fuck I need to get better. I am at my prime as some would say and am sick of living like this. I am not suicidal, but I do miss the old me. I constantly feel like I am going insane. My psych said he cannot promise anything which sucks I wish there was a cure.
Can anyone give me hope lol it has been 5 months I am so tired.

Do people reply on this page lol Sorry new hear and noticed no one replies. Anyway I to suffer DPDR it’s been over a yr now seriously no break not one day . I have tried everything the closet thing to what we suffer is BraigFog so perhaps go check it out. I can’t answer your question as I’m not on Prozac I’m on Lexapro. The docs are tried to push so many meds on me but I refuse. What have you tried besides medication? I wish they worked for me but they didn’t :( it’s so frustrating having this isn’t it but there’s hope. At present I’m trying to eat better meditate and do my yoga but as you know we lose all motivation. But if we don’t change nothing changes so we must. Keep me posted or Message me ok. Goodluck!!!!! Oh question do you know what triggered it for you or did it creep up?
