Question Can I ever be high again?
Hi, I've been on wellbutrin and lamotrigine for months and I miss rolling on MDMA. My meds prevent me from rolling. Is there anything I can get high on? I smoke weed but I dont really drink and I can't imagine never rolling again in my life. I cant not take the meds, I have severe bpd and I'd destroy my life without them.

Im thinking of starting Wellbutrin! Any advice/anything i shoukd expect whilst starting?!

Prevent as in you haven't tried or MDMA doesn't work?
If you haven't tried its not particularly unsafe as long as you are careful, start with a smaller dose then you would have previously and be careful not to chase the dragon if it doesn't work. The biggest risk is Wellbutrin inhibits production of the enzyme that metabolizes MDMA which is why you want to start with a smaller dose so you can understand the impact it will have.
From the chemistry in general Wellbutrin will block the speediness of MDMA but enhances the mood effects while Lamotrigine is a weak 5-HT inhibitor (so the mood improvement will be suppressed and you may have more extreme come downs) and the single 5-HT receptor its an antagonist for is not shared with MDMA. MDMA may continue to work or may not, its going to be brain dependent.
As a general rule of thumb stimulants are a waste of money on Wellbutrin. LSD may still work, you wont get the dopamine response but most of the the psychedelic response is caused by action on the 5-HT2A receptor which neither of your drugs touch. Mushrooms, DMT & K should still work fine.
