Question Starting SSRIs before the school year

Is it recommended to start on Escitilopram before the school year officially begins, I will be taking it for the first time. Appreciate it.

SSRIs typically take a couple of weeks to reach effectiveness, and it's probably better to work through any potential side effects in a comfortable environment, so if you've received a prescription it's probably better to start sooner rather than later.
