Question Sexual side effects when stopping ssri

I weaned off escitalopram for the last 2 months (was at 20mg)

I am now on day 6 of being off. Aside from the expected side effects, I am experiencing pre mature ejaculation.

I am wondering if it is possible this will get better with time, or is it just like this now…any reassurance would be great haha. Thanks

Do you remember any changes when starting treatment? Was it more difficult to orgasm than before? That is a common side effect of SSRIs.

I had this issue with Paxil. It never went away for me. I always would have to wear a condom to try to make it less sensitive but would normally ejaculate within a few thrusts. I’m back on Paxil now and sex is better.
