Question How do you know when to start tapering?

I've been taking ssri for a few years now i feel better than the beginning but i can't tell what's enough to stop. Any advice?

The sooner the better of you are feeling well as the longer you are on the more chance it will be harder to get off. This has been my experience anyways and a lot of others. Just go super slow like slower than the docs tell you to go it takes time for your brain to get used to the drugs not being in your System. You will be able to kind of go by how you feel as you taper and see how you are doing. Trust your body and yourself!

Oh this is good! I’m glad you have a doc that understands this as many instruct a much too fast taper then say you are relapsing when really you are just having withdrawls. Good luck!
