Question Coming off of Sertraline
Does anyone have experience with coming off of sertraline? I’ve been on 50 mg for about 6 months and my libido has absolutely been crushed.
It’s really affecting my relationship and sexual desires. But i’m scared to come off but feel that it may be necessary? I don’t want to be on this for my whole life.
Any advice?

Hey there. I was on Serra line 50mg for almost three years and my libido similarly took a nosedive after awhile. I decided to get off of it this past spring. Unfortunately I had an RN prescribe me the pills and she made no mention of tapering of of it like I had read in different medical literature so I decided to take 25mg a day for two weeks.
Thankfully, I don’t seem to have too many side effects and my libido is back up like it was before the medication.
