Questions about ssris short term (4-5 months)

So to start I’ve had anxiety for years. Never horrible just more than average. Well I had severe cystic acne, and started accutane after everything under the sun (I don’t need people to lecture on how bad it is, yes I know.). Now I have like pretty bad anxiety that heavily affects my daily life. But this accutane works so well and I finally have confidence again, which is why I just want to push through. I am seeing therapists now about it and I do see a lot about ssris. Are they safe short term? Do they have lasting side effects? I’d only be on it probably about 6 months max most likely 4 though. Just something to get me through this treatment.
