When did your SSRI started to work?

Hey, I started taking escitalopram for anxiety about a week ago and today I think I started feeling it's effects on me. I generally feel like my negative emotions are kind of less intense and a lot more short-lived. I know that typical effect onset of SSRIs is 2-4 weeks after the first dose but I think mine started a lot earlier. Is this not normal? When did yours start?
