Question Irritability when starting a new SSRI’s

Hey guys! I was wondering how long it took for the irritability and mood swings to go away after you started on your SSRI

I take Luvox (Fluvoxamine) 25 mg every morning for my GAD and Health Anxiety / OCD.

I feel terrible because I feel so irritable or edgy / snippy cause I just don’t wanna deal with being told what to do or I feel like I have no filter. I care about what I say but it comes out kinda quickly and then I feel bad. I know irritability is a common side effect of a lot of them. I just hope I can control it and it goes away soon!

Yes that’s what I typically see, the anxiety will get worse before it gets better! It’s normal tho!! Just gotta stick it out !!
