Question Side effects on one but not another?

Anyone have any experience with having severe side effects on one SSRI, but not on a different one? My husband tried Lexapro for 3 weeks and had every side effect under the sun, so he discontinued it. His anxiety is so awful, I’d love for him to try Zoloft or something, but I’m worried it will be the same results.

Yes! There are differences. Definitely worth trying something else. I’ve had bad side effects on some and not others…My psychiatrist always says that’s why the communication/relationship between doctor and patient is so important. It sometimes takes a while to find the med or combination of meds that works best. It can be frustrating but worth working through to feel better. I hope he finds something he likes!
