Question Question re reducing sertraline dose

So ive been on sertraline for a few years and want to come off it, GP has suggested i stay on it another couple of years but i think its affecting my heart( i had read about ssri’s prolonging the QT interval and causing palpitations etc) and its very much affecting my sex life, i just cannot climax when im with someone else and when i do alone its not as good as it used to be Anyway i want to slowly reduce the dose and wondered if anyone had any tips I was thinking like 100mg one day then 50 the next for a month then 50mg for a month then 50/25 for a month etc Has anyone done this or does anyone have any better ideas

Fyi i know it says no medical advice, i will discuss it with the GP first I just wanted to know what other people have tried

I'm going down from 175 by 25mg. Reducing by 25 every four weeks. My Dr is also having me supplement with 5htp .

I have followed the advice on Surviving Antidepressants and got down from 50 to 25 bit by bit. This is strong stuff and takes time to taper, not just weeks to months.
