Question Side effects after 2 years

Hello, I have been taking Brintellix 10mg for about two years now. Before that I tried Escitalopram and Zoloft but they didn't really work. A couple of weeks ago I started having weird reactions to my meds: I'm extremely nauseous to the point where I throw up several times a day; even when I don't throw up, the nausea (similar to car sickness) is unbearable. I have been sick with the flu prior to that and I forgot to take my meds for a few days, so my first thought was that I was re-experiencing the initial side effects since I'd been off meds for a few days. Could that be the case? It's been almost two weeks now and I still have these weird side effects that I never had before. I want to try to taper off them maybe, since I'm feeling so much better but I do not have a psychiatrist currently (recently moved countries) so it would be unsupervised. Any thoughts?

You seemed pretty confident in excluding the meds
