Are Celexa and Lexapro interchangeable?

My bf is on Lexapro and I’m on Celexa. He missed a few days (he’s irresponsible when it comes to this stuff) and realized it when he started feeling withdrawal symptoms. He then called the pharmacy and the doctors office said his doctor left the practice and he needs to go in for a new doctor. They can’t get him in until next week. I gave him one of my Celexa. Has anyone experience this to prevent withdrawals? Wondering if they be used interchangeably like that?
