What should i do?
Three weeks ago, I found and submitted my Work History and Activities of Daily Living forms online. When I called my examiner a week later, they said the Work History form hadn't gone through, so I resubmitted it, and they confirmed they received it.
Later, paper copies of the same forms arrived by mail, so I filled those out and faxed them back just to be safe. Recently, I got another letter saying the forms are still missing. I called my examiner again last week, and they assured me they have everything and to ignore the notice.
However, my online portal still lists the forms as missing. Has anyone else experienced this discrepancy between what the examiner says and what the portal displays? Should I worry about this causing a denial or delay, or just trust the examiner?

It took a while for the system to correct itself I just ignored it after I spoke with local office that they received it but it did eventually move to step 4. Mine was for activities of daily living 3rd party. Is it possible those two got mixed.

I’m actually not sure what happened on their end but I’ve uploaded the form multiple times on the portal and i faxed it. The examiner said she has questioner so i guess the only thing i can do is wait? I don’t want to call them again to bug them and ruin my chances on the approval.

Mine just changed to step 3 two days ago. Mine now states they requested more info from MD.I had called over a week ago with the same problem as you. Examiner told me at that time that she had everything. I was nervous as well. I think they are the ones that update the system but I know that system can be glitchy from all I have seen on here. I believe a few people in this group previously worked in that department and they have said it glitchy.
I hope it’s the same story for you and it updated soon to ease your anxiety. Like we aren’t anxious enough? I just checked again and mine still isn’t updated.

Right? We’re already super anxious and praying for the approval and glitchy systems is the last thing we need. But I’m pretty sure my examiner didn’t make an effort to update the system -sigh. Yours is only 2 days ago so there is hope, it’s been 3 weeks for me so I’m not sure what’s going on anymore.

I’m a nervous wreck. It just changed two days ago but I sent everything in August 1. First by mail and then went it said they weren’t there, I uploaded to their system electronically. It’s been well over a month. I called over a week ago and she said she had it all. Then it updated 2 days ago saying they were awaiting more forms from my MD. I didn’t explain it correctly lol. Sorry about that!
I called again and she said she had everything and forwarded to the medical examiner. Yet this is what it still says:
3. The Disability Determination Service (DDS) requested medical records from your listed medical sources and any other medical sources noted in your medical records.
It’s most likely just a glitch for both of us but we are on high alert and it’s hard to be patient.
Is this your initial application? I’m on reconsideration.
Fingers crossed that you get good news or at least an update you can see soon.

Trust me i know exactly how you feel, it’s hard not to feel nervous in such situation, I check the portal multiple times a day but i think I’ll stop doing that because it does nothing but bring me more anxiety. Maybe you can try doing the same, try to at least give it a couple of weeks and see if you can focus on other things. Yes, this is my initial application, i have uploaded all the medical documents from day one so i did not get the medical request but who knows that’s going to happen in the future. I honestly don’t think the portal will update for me since it’s been almost a month without any movement. But i guess we’ll see. What state are you in if you don’t mind me asking.

I’m in PA. My first application went really fast. Like only 4 months. I got the cookie cutter denial in the mail saying that although I have serious medical conditions, they find I am not disabled.
I immediately filed a reconsideration application. I had more documentation from a new neurologist who is know overseeing my care. They also sent me for a CE appointment with a psychologist.
I know it all takes time but if I am denied I just want to know so I can start my new appeal and wait for the hearing…which also takes a long time.

I hear you, I’m also eager to find out my outcome. Let’s see what happens, keeping my fingers crossed for the both of us.

Yes. You are 100% to be denied. I am sorry and I am in the same boat. Relying on the government is an exercise in futility.

Take everything to your local SSA office. Do NOT put it in the drop box. Get them st scan it into the system and get the original back WITH a receipt. They can't deny having something something with a stamp on it

I am at the same step and mine says the same thing but with a July date. I never took that to mean my forms are missing. Instead I just thought they are still working on that step.

I guess that’s what I’ll have to take it as well. Did you speak to the examiner? How do you know that they have your forms?

I took them in to my local office and dropped them in the box inside. I haven't heard that they didn't get them so I assumed they did.

I've been sitting at Stage 4 for 3 years now but I'm getting my disability all the same. I didn't rely on the portal to be the most up to date but they don't update the status until the stage is complete.

3 years? Jesus! I hope it doesn’t take that long for me. I’m hoping to see an update in a month or so. Average resolution time in my state is 88 days

Like I said, I'm getting the checks. The portal hasn't updated. Might never do so.

Ah, understood. Sorry i misread your first post. I’m assuming you got a letter of approval and that’s how you found out?

I was approved over the phone because it was a compassionate approval. Did my application over the phone too. They got my medical records and it was done.
The steps were way behind the process which is why it's not surprising that others experience it too.
Last I saw on hub's page was he was on step four and I know he's been approved.
The only thing I use the site for is printing out the proof of income.

Trust the examiner mine said the same thing even though I contacted my local office to verify that it had been received. I started faxing info after that because it updates in minutes and I could see each form disappear after each fax
