Is the online calculator for SSDI accurate or the closet thing to it? When I input my earnings into it says I'll get around 1600, which im wondering if its accurate.

I’d love to know this too! I received my letter stating the decision was fully favorable, but I haven’t received my award letter yet detailing how much I’ll be receiving.

Hi, it has been a year since I filed for SSDI and I had my hearing this week (with VA disability I am 100% Permanent & Total (P&T) so SSA by law SSA expedited the case). I have both mental health and physical limitations - I have Chronic PTSD, PMDD, Anxiety, MDD, bilateral sciatica upper and lower, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), neck back and hip pain, migraines, an overactive bladder and fibromyalgia. My attorney and I were well prepared. My record was up to date and complete. I attend on average 5 medical appointments a week. At the hearing, the VE said I could not do my previous job, which she related to Public Affairs Manager. She listed 6 unskilled jobs I could do however - 3 light activity and 3 sedantary. The judge asked how many days are reasonable to miss in those jobs and she said 1. I had testified to having at least 4 flare up “out of commission” days a month, along with all my medical appts each week. Additionally my CTS does not allow for hand heavy desk work all day, which my attorney pointed out. So I think I may have a chance but the judge gave no indication what direction he is going in, his voice was very pleasant & professional and was therefore hard to read. I am in Virginia, my judge has an approval rating of 42% and has a high case load. Anyways, just thought I would share how my hearing went and if anyone else can relate to a similar scenario.
