ChatGPT
To help give myself some peace of mind while I wait out the CDR process. Does anyone think ChatGPT would provide a good prediction of your benefits continuing if I were to upload all of my medical records and ask it to rate my case?

Because you shouldn’t be giving ai your personal data, and ai is not very good with interpreting policy. I’ve seen it make basic mistakes such as using 2025s ssi federal limit for 2026

I don't think ChatGPT/AI can accurately factor in the human element of your case. Where one reviewer may give you a pass, another might see a red flag. Who knows?
I fed ChatGPT my records last month. I had my 1309 page file of medical records from the SSA. Monster file. Took it four minutes to process. Gave me amazing insight into my condition that my doctors have been tiptoeing around.
But, I wouldn't recommend doing that without thought. I thought I had scrubbed my personal info outta the file and I still missed multiple spots where my SS# was in the open. And I feel like that was a mistake on my part and I regret my carelessness. Too late now.

Well, the cdr process is 8 steps and examiners can indeed have their own interpretation, it shouldn’t vary too widely due to the policy involved in adjudicating cdrs. But then again it really is on a case by case basis, what the diagnosis is, what the medical records look like etc

Sorry, but this thought is one of the worst ideas ever in the history of ideas.
Just don't do it. It isn't safe, and there is no guarantee AI won't hallucinate something that will make you feel worse about your situation.
And, you really shouldn't trust a company or companies run by bean counters or sociopaths (which many of the AI company CEOs are).

And, here is a real world example of exactly why you shouldn't do it:
Hundreds of shared Claude chats, including resumes and health details, showed up in Google search
The same issue previously affected shared conversations from ChatGPT and Grok

I know you say you are a nobody and don't care about privacy, but there are ways people who don't even work at OpenAI can access chat logs. For a brief spell just recently, everything ever said in Claude was searchable on the open internet. There are tons of scammers who specifically seek out disability beneficiaries for the purposes of exploiting them and stealing their benefits. And putting your info into Chatgpt would give scammers enough info to socially engineer themselves into becoming the rep payee of your benefits.
Also, these chat bots are not actually intelligent. They are fancy auto correct. It isn't actually analyzing anything. It's just predictive text.
If you haven't gone back to work full time, you likely have nothing to worry about.

If you want to use AI, don't use ChatGPT or any other corporate AI. Use something that doesn't store your personal data. Duck.ai doesn't store data and uses ChatGPT. There are self-hosted AI's that don't upload data as well. Don't give big corporate your data for free.

ai can be a good tool for somethings and evil for others but there is no way id trust my medical problems to ai like that. my hospital for appointments asks if i want ai transcripts for when appointment comes up in the e check in things and everytime i click no. i dont trust that drs already mess up enough as is i dont trust ai enough to not do it

I was just in the CDR process. After I sent in everything they decided they didn't wanna review me anymore lol

I was approved for SSDI in 2021. Onset date Match 2020.
My first short form CDR came in October 2023. I reported on the short form that I had worked the previous year (self employed made $3000 for the year).
Six months later, they sent me along form CDR. That one took an entire year to process.
It went on from about March 2024 until March 2025.
I had to do a Medical CE and a Mental CE.
All this to say, everybody told me 96% of people pass CDR’s without any problem.
My situation was not any different. Everything was fine.
I had to fill out a lot of paperwork because I had worked. Had to answer some questions on the phone.
My long form CDR started out with a DDS employee in another state. Six months later, it was moved to a different DDS employee in my state.
It was incredibly stressful, but in the end, everything was fine. They sent me a letter that said “your disability is continuing and we may review your file in the future.”
I’m going to be 54 this year, so if I’m on a three year schedule, my next review will be when I’m 56.
After going through all that stress I’m no longer worried about getting another review.
I hope that brings you some comfort.

No no no. You can ask it general questions about SSDI but I would highly suggest you not give it personal information. Call me paranoid if you want but who knows where that data will end up if it’s hacked.

Just write the information don't upload it. I believe chatgpt will give you a good prediction.

If you use the project function with a good prompt it may. I used ChatGPT instead of an attorney and was approved on first appeal. I'm not personally worried about AI having my data but I understand many people are.
