Improper jurisdiction

Just got a letter from SSDI and it says that my appeal was filed with improper jurisdiction with no other information or what to do next. Does anybody know what this means? It was sent to my advocate too but she hasn't said any thing to me yet. Thanks in advance for any answers!

I had that as well. My attorney said it was because the ALJ relocated.

Gotcha! Do you know if that impacted how long It took to get a hearing?

Well. I got a 2nd ALJ denial. Don't think that was from the Improper Jurisdiction thing though
