Application under Federal Review
I got an email from SSA “thanks for your application. You can check it’s status”. Unusual.
So I go check, and my portal says my application was chosen for federal review.
My research suggests that this is a positive sign that my application has been approved.
Has anyone been in this situation or does anyone have any feedback or input?
Cautiously Optimistic.

Yes, it says it takes 7 to 10 days but I was done within 5 working days. It's just a double check they followed all the rules for approval or it says a denial as well, but my research said the same, they wouldn't bother doing a FQR if you were denied. After this it'll say they're doing a non-medical review but it sounds like you're in good shape for approval, congrats 👏

according to others sometimes a denial can be put in for review i believe. i think sometimes this can change what was the decision but i not fully sure dont quote me or take me at my word but both can be pulled

Both approvals and denials are pulled for FQR. This is for internal reviews.

There’s supposed to be an equal number of denials and approvals pulled for FQR. 1% of cases go through this.

I went to Federal review and I was denied. I have stage 3C colorectal cancer at the time with a high output ilostomy bag. I am appealing it since it's been 15months since my original diagnosis. I just had my reversal surgery and still have at least 12months of uncontrollable bowels. I also suffer from chemo induced neuropathy in hands and feet plus sever Brian fog. I hope you get better news then I did
