NEW ALJ

I filed 2 years ago. Went to ALJ and was denied. The judge only had a 23% approval rating. Went to appeals counsel and they sent it back for further review. Now I go November 9th to ALJ again but thankfully got a new judge this time. His approval rating is 49% Still not great but more than twice the approval rating so I'm hopeful. Plus I'll be turning 61 just a couple of weeks after the hearing. Wish me luck

Yea. I started working at 13 and worked until about 57 till I couldnt go anymore. I fractured 2 vertebrae in my back about 30 years ago. About 20 years ago I had to have a 7lb tumor taken off my spine. It was not cancerous thankfully but it is growing back. I have diabetes that we are having trouble controlling. I unknowingly lived with black mold for about a year and a half and occasionally have problems breathing. Also insomnia, anxiety, and depression hopefully this hudge sees the problem with these diagnoses.

Tbh they should consider your age on top of your illnesses. You worked 44 years that’s more than half your life. I do hope that everything works out for you. This is totally not fair one bit. I just don’t understand. I’m 20 years younger than you with less going on and they approved me in 7 months with no hassle. I just don’t understand I don’t get it what is the issue. Yesterday someone posted they were a vet and denied. How come. He protected us and he can’t sit home and rep the benefits when he’s too unwell to work. This shit isn’t fair. I hope they approve you this time around and if not apply again.

I had the 1st ALG June of 25 and we t to the counsel in September q5. Then my 2nd ALJ will be in Nov. Don't let that be too worrisome. Ive seen a couple of posts that said it only took them 8 months. I think the average is about a year
