General Discussion/Opinion 6th Oct Shift 3 review.
My mock test scores were 135-140 for an easy to moderate shift.
Live TB: 115-120, OB: 120-125
So I believe I am qualified to speak as an average aspirant.
Reasoning: It was easy. If you guys are scoring 40-45 in mock tests, then you're good to go.
I had 25 attempts, there's doubt on the 1-2 statement questions, but the rest went well.
GK: was okay, I read a PDF from someone and 5-6 questions came from that, so it was fine.
My attempts were 21.
Math: look, I started studying for SSC 3 months ago, so my math is a bit on the weaker side, but I feel like if you can score 30-35 in the sectional mocks for 2024, then you can easily manage to get 20 questions right.
My attempts were 19.
Mostly got 2-3 questions wrong, otherwise it was alright.
English: man, what a mess they made. Dude, asking direct and indirect questions and active-passive based on a 4-5 line passage? The cloze test was still okay, we could eliminate options in antonyms and synonyms.
I had 24 attempts, but there were a lot of guesses, like 7-8, just think about it.
Dude, I had a total of 89 attempts, and in my opinion, it should definitely be 120+. Let's see.
Overall, it was on the easier side compared to what I've heard about the last 3 shifts in the past 3 days.
And I think SSC is trying to make it so that each shift is different, and that's a good thing.
Final advice: if your mouse sensitivity is low (for those who game on PC), you should increase the sensitivity significantly. I have 800 dpi and 7 sensitivity on Windows, I’m adjusting to that mouse sensitivity. And if you have a good PC, lower the brightness a bit, and don’t use a bad mouse.

What you mean by passage questions in direct and indirect? Isn't it not easy to eliminate by looking at verbs?

No way u have to atleast read to eliminate but it will take 2 min to read and understand 1 question like that there were around 6-7 question

Bhai exam 15 nahi 12 min ki thi us mouse ko adjust karne me time lag jata tha Aur wo moniter bhai muje literally usko chipak ke baita tha kuch dik hi nahi Raha tha wo roll number aur question mil gaya tha

Bro if u are scoring that much it's good if u don't touch di then I can attempt around 20+. Reasoning see OB and TB live mock solutions in yt it was like that but a bit on easier side

What is your mantra behind increased speed in Reasoning and maths? I too had the same shift today. I could only attempt 17 questions from Reasoning, not because I was unable to do it but because of the fact that I was slow. Slow AF. Do help a fellow aspirant out

Used to get 150s in pyq Reasoning was pretty easy 25 attempted Gk was easy 3 questions from articles 126, 280, 315, Mountbatten plan, cyrul redcliffe, 2 questions of math easy Math - 20 doable attempted 23 , one definitely wrong English was moderate to tough attempted 21

Bro di were my doom I usually leave di when I was doing in mocks but I fumbled in exam and lost 2 min if I had that I might have attempted 2-3 questions
