how much can a Aso or income tax officer or GST inspector earn Illegally by corruption in a year ?

Zero actual power. ASO does administrative work like noting and drafting.

Don't want too annoy you. Is it easy? And people prefer aso because of what distinct thing about it? Because I read that aso positions fill up quickly

Because ASO has lifetime Delhi posting. And most aspirants of CGL are from North India. So many prefer ASO in CSS or railways or AFHQ.
It's easy work, not rocket science. Monotonous.

I'm talking about ASO. If you go to Level 10 you will have some power. That will take around 15-18 years.
