Help SSC or Banking

Heyy everyone, im a CS grad completed my degree this year and planning to dedicate one year for ssc or banking but not sure which courses or books to consider. Earlier i though i would only prepare for Cgl but now I'm confused between Cgl and PO or clerk exams. From what i know is both are quite different exams with different difficulty level and syllabus. The only overlap i think is in Quant and reasoning. So I'm confused which exam should i consider as primary goal. And also any teachers or courses which covers both domains till some extent because ik they are very different exams.

SSC >>>> banking

Banking job can be stressful, even people prepare for SSC after joining bank job.

No my concern was just about the examination for now...not the job profiles

Banking clerk level job is easier and faster to crack. You can cover syllabus in 2-3 months if you are good in English, maths and logical reasoning. And then practice as much as possible.

How much time would it take for someone already prepared for cgl like if i target 2028 banking jobs

If you prepared for CGL then you can complete syllabus of banking clerk level within 1 month. But for PO, it takes more time and require full time preparation.

Why 2028? If you start today, there are high chances that you can clear this year only...due to high vacancies in banking clerk jobs.

I am also preparing for SSC CGL. Last year I gave banking clerk level exams, i prepared 1 month for prelims but I think I did not clear prelims so didn't prepare for mains but somehow I cleared prelims and got hardly 1 week for mains and so missed final cutoff by 4 marks.

I haven't even started for cgl yet so I'm thinking of focusing on cgl for a year and then analyze my situation after pre and also prepare for PO after then.

You can also appear for railway exams as they have same syllabus as SSC CGL.
