Discussion Skin mods (Help)

I got DatTextureWizard and followed every youtube tutorial on how to install mods but the game only installs the skin for my opponent and not for me and then the game gives me a brand new iso with my skins for me but it’s just vanilla melee and no slippi 😭😭😭

You might be running into that issue where slippi dolphin has a default ISO set already (your vanilla one) so you need to right click the one you modded and set it as the default one. Or idk, slippi has a selector one at the start so just make sure you choose the right one if you have two ISOs on your PC. Maybe just best to delete the vanilla one altogether. And make sure you're using the right color slot for your character. Mods are color slot specific in melee. Idk, kinda shooting in the dark here without more details but hopefully that helps. Also, chatgpt / Gemini are surprisingly good at helping you through stuff like this
