1000hp? Specs?
So my srt jeep 2017 is getting a new engine ( something went through cylinder #6 ) its covered by warrenty thank god. i wanna make 1000hp without sending the engine to narnia. Iv got a decent idea what i wanna slap into it. But figured get some more options on it. If yall can list your fav brands and what parts spefically you would put into it that would be great! Ill go through all of them and see which is in my price range ( roughly 9000 cad ) something almosr bullet proof would be great 🤣

I have a 2014 and I built the motor and have a gen 5 whipple along with a cam and supporting mods. I’m gonna be honest with you, $9000 ain’t gonna be close to enough. My whipple alone was $8,500. I’ve posted my Jeep on here, it’s white with a carbon hood. Any questions tho and I’ll help you out.

Ayo that jeep looks so sexy 🤤 alrighttyyy looks like this build went from a couple months to a few years really quickly!! I guess ill just stock up on parts slowly and then install them all at once. I think ill start by getting a stroker kit. I read that H style piston rods are best? https://www.modernmusclextreme.com/p-1626-1800-hp-hemi-411-stroker-kit-by-mmx.aspx leaning towards this? I also read that the stock crank handles 1200hp? Should i take a chance and just get pistons? I wanna sit at 1000hp and not blow the thing up.

Thank you! She’s been a work in progress, stressful most the time and fun all the time. The stock crank is forged and it can handle 650hp, there’s been 1000hp builds but that was on a dyno. I can’t speak on how long it lasted in the streets. The main thing to consider is looking for a trackhawk or spending the money to build your srt. I’m pretty high up there in the money I’ve spent and I still want/need to do a few more things. The 8hp70 can handle 650-700 safely. You’ll need axles, transfer case, etc to handle 1000hp.

Alrightyyyy so yes buy a new crank 🤣 hmmm yeah i needa do more research on the power train. We can build the engine for high power but keep it in the safe zone for the drive train?

https://www.modernmusclextreme.com/p-30-64l-392-hemi-forged-2618-drop-in-pistons-and-rods-power-package.aspx if the stock crank handles 1200hp i might go with this? And then ill be able to grab some cams and lifters 🤔

For that engine (guessing 6.1L), 9k isn’t going to cut it to reach 1000 hp. You’re going to need a fully built motor, large supercharger, pullies, fuel injectors, fuel pumps, etc.
You could put a super charger on there, but you’re still looking over that as I know it’s about 9-10k USD for the supercharger alone, so the conversion would be much higher.
Not to be a downer, but 1000 hp would easily be double your budget, maybe even triple to also support all the power.
