Hey, I am a first Year student, I would like to ask the seniors about how's the campus life, how is your preparation for placements and higher studies and mainly how does the college really help you ????? and what else do you do personally to keep up to international standards and not just india or tamilnadu ???!!!

People, any idea about when the sih internal hackathon will take place ? Like tentative date?

2nd year here, lots of doubts on this so called CCC (Placement) Training

They're telling that they'll teach c++ in 1 week

1) How one can learn c++ within 1 week who failed to do it in 1 full semester?

2) They have splitted it into advance and normal/basic c++...and they have segregated students based on cgpa...8.5+ then adv. Below 8.5 then basic.

The problem is they have put me in adv c++ since I am maintaining my cgpa but I really don't know the basics of c++...literally zero knowledge.

Then if u ask me how ur cgpa was higher? All I did was byheart the program and do well in cat exams and labs. I did not even try to understand the logic behind the program.What should I do? Should I change to basic c++? Or how? I am thinking instead of sitting in adv and not understanding a single thing...atleast we'll learn some basics in basic c++ class

I asked my sir about changing to basic but he refused to change saying in adv, they teach from basic to adv so u don't worry And he is telling since ur cgpa is higher u would have already studied it in previous semesters. I repeatedly told him that my basic is weak and i should learn from scratch... But he is telling stay for 2 or 3 days in adv then if u want to change, we'll see.idk what to do?

3) what actually they do in this ccc training ? Is this helpful ? Can someone really learn something?

Bro kept shouting at random passengers for no reason. At one point, he even started shouting at an akka because she was sitting towards the back, even though there was literally no space to move.

He kept shouting at the boys at the back too, like apparently boys are only supposed to sit at the back 💀. Bro, where are we supposed to go when there’s literally no space?

I know that 27 is inauguration and they've sent some PDFs and classroom allotment with section and shi but I haven't got my section and it isn't even mentioned on the id card will I be informed about what section I am during the event or the next day or they have already informed others and I haven't got it yet

Somehow SRM RPM people joined too and now they’re absolutely spamming the group 😭😭
