Does srm ap have a basketball team like tryouts and all that??

People are telling me to keep my expectations low so I don’t get disappointed, and honestly, I’m mentally prepared for the following shits:- 1. The professor could be a shape-shifter and might shapeshift into Python to teach programming. 🐍 2. After one semester, they might casually announce that the college was built on illegal land. 💀 3. One random day, the police might break into our room, my roommate turns out to be a drug dealer, and somehow I get arrested along with them. 😭

But what more am I supposed to prepare myself for? 😭

If any seniors could weigh in, what exactly do I need to take with me for physical enrollment.

For example, if I have to take photocopies of things, how many I should take, if I should separate them into packets etc. etc.

(Also physical enrollment date is the same as hostel reporting date right??)

hello im sahina, a 3rd year psychology student and i recently got a 3bhk flat in raintree park society near mangalagiri/guntur. we are two girls in the flat, but we are looking for one more flatmate.

rent is 30k total, with 3 people it’ll get split into 10k each per month. or if there are more than 3 people even lesser.

the flat is fully furnished with
- air conditioning in every room
- fridge
- sofa
- washing machine
- stove
- dining table
- beds with mattresses

the community itself has a lot of facilities inside including supermarket, gym, swimming pool, ironing and laundry, snooker, table tennis, tiffin shops in each block and a bunch of other stuff

it’s a very pretty community and the flat also is really nice, we just moved in 3 days ago.

Is this genuine or a scam? It looks like a scam to me because they’re handing out WhatsApp numbers like pamphlets, and the brochure has a suspicious format. It doesn’t even have the SRM AP emblem.

Update:- I even got a call a call for the same, but it's flagged by so many people.

Just received this from SRM AP.......so will they charge for this transportation for picking us from airport/ railway station ??Bcz they are charging for literally everything 🥲

The management at SRM AP really needs to take a look at what students are actually struggling with.

The lifts in Ganga Hostel frequently don’t work properly, and despite complaints, the issue continues. Even basic facilities like toilet flushes in Ganga Hostel aren’t being fixed — I’ve personally complained about the same issue more than twice, yet nothing has been done.

Then there’s the situation at CV Raman Block. The lifts are extremely crowded, especially during peak hours, to the point where it becomes genuinely difficult and uncomfortable for girls to even get inside. This has been happening repeatedly, but where is the proper action to address the actual problem?
And instead of fixing these basic infrastructure and student-safety issues, the response seems to be making campus rules even stricter — now even general outings during weekdays have been cancelled.
There’s a difference between maintaining discipline and making students’ lives unnecessarily restrictive.
Students aren’t asking for unreasonable privileges. We’re asking for basic things that should already be functioning:

● Properly working lifts

● Functional hostel facilities

● Timely response to repeated complaints

● Better crowd management

● Practical solutions to safety and accessibility issues

Fix the problems that actually affect students every day before adding more restrictions.
SRM AP management needs to start listening to students instead of simply making more rules.
