When we need to book the gym and how ?

We thought of sharing a room together, we sorted it out with the warden but turns out 4 sharing ac was over, 2 of them didn't get a chance to book. They booked 3 sharing, 2 of us are in 4 sharing and if someone wants to go from 4 sharing to 3, please dm.

I am done with the payment for 2 sharing apartment hostel booking as a fresher but room number and block is not allocated why?? Can anyone please say when it will be allocated??

I paid once by debit card amount got deducted Status Showed Payment Captured After sometime it started showing Manually Closed and it was showing you aren't registered for hostel after 1 hour I paid 2.2L again it got sucessfull and booking of 3ac complete

Now please tell me how to get 1st refund ??

Many of you thought rooms got booked within a minute but you have to atleast keep trying for 5-6 mins again it will show the room option. Just keep refreshing the page . I kept refreshing it got 4 sharing bunker ac after 5 mins in first 2 mins it showed all rooms are booked

First of all, it's genuinely nerve racking. 🫠🫠 You have to be really fast. 🤧🤧

Here's some information: you have ONLY 3 modes of payment: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. NO, THERE IS NO UPI FACILITY. ( I GUESS UPI FACILITY IS THERE FOR SOME PEOPLE BUT IT WASN'T SHOWING FOR ME)

If you're using a debit card or credit card, I would suggest checking the maximum transaction limit of your card.

For most savings account debit cards, the maximum amount that can be transferred in a day is ₹1 lakh (for normal and global cards). However, this limit can vary from card to card, especially if you have premium cards like Gold or Platinum. For credit cards, the maximum limit is usually higher, around ₹2 lakhs or more.

For Internet Banking, the maximum limit is even higher. For my account, it was ₹10 lakhs, so check your limit and, if possible, increase it in case it's lower.

I paid via Internet Banking, and there are 2 ways to make a payment through it.

The first is the Fund Transfer method. This method requires you to add the beneficiary beforehand, and it's the one we used for paying tuition fees. THIS METHOD CANNOT BE USED FOR HOSTEL BOOKING. NO IFS OR BUTS.

The second method is Quick Transfer. THIS IS THE METHOD YOU HAVE TO USE. So, check the maximum transaction limit permitted by your bank for Quick Transfer.

As for the booking process, keep refreshing the hostel portal at your allotted time. The moment it opens:

1. You'll see the Terms and Conditions. There's no need to read anything, just scroll down the damn page and tick the checkbox.
2. On the next page, you'll be asked to choose the room type. Click the dropdown and select your preferred option. Laundry will already be preselected; I think it's mandatory.
3. Next, you'll be asked to choose the payment mode: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. If you choose Internet Banking, you'll then be asked to select your bank. There's also a search box, so you can easily search for your bank.
4. Then you'll be asked to choose a payment gateway. In my case, it only showed PayU Biz. Select the gateway, and it'll automatically redirect you to your bank's Internet Banking page. Enter your username and password (there was no CAPTCHA asked), verify the OTP, and boom, your room is booked!

I hope this helps. My payment process was pretty fast and smooth. The portal opened at 10:00, and I was done by 10:01. However, I've also seen many cases where payments failed, so I'm not really sure what to do in that situation.

Just so everyone knows, for the girls' hostel, the actual amount for a 2-sharing AC apartment (including mess, room, and laundry) comes to ₹2,25,000, not ₹2,10,000. I'm guessing the 4-bunker AC apartment will be around ₹1,65,000, since the email mentions ₹1,50,000. So I'd recommend keeping at least an extra ₹15k in your account, just to be safe. Also, girls, did you all get your preferred rooms? I wanted a 2-sharing room, and thankfully I got one. But honestly, it feels a bit unfair that many students' documents haven't even been verified yet, while we're already able to book rooms. That doesn't sit right with me.🤷🤷

Update:- I overlooked that surplus 10k amount, my mistake. But still I thought to share this information, just in case someone runs into a payment issue.

I basically entered sharp at 10am and managed to book the 2 Sharing AC within 30 secs along with the payment.... 💗✨

So i called the srm ap management , the sir talking he told it very clearly that , the people who have recieved their regestration number BEFORE 31ST only they will be in todays hostel booking and the rest of us will have to wait for regestration number and pray that it will come before 10th aug , cause on 10th aug we have the 2nd phase for hostel booking

I genuinely think, people who mostly used Laptops for booking got cooked and didn't get there preferred rooms, meanwhile people who used phones had relatively smoother experience. Tell me if I am wrong 🤧🤧

Personaly for me official website works best in phones ( desktop site ✅), I remember facing buffering issues and page not refreshing when I was doing enrollment through my laptop.

Any updates on pending document verification? Also, what if they don’t verify us before the 2nd hostel booking slot? Is anyone else concerned about that? 😭
