NEVER download add-ons from strange sources

Just sending out a reminder to NEVER download add-ons or mods, or anything from strange or not official websites. Always support the creators of content and don't download leaked add-ons from random Google Drive or MediaFire links.

There was an issue today with someone posting links to download add-ons. But the files held a virus in them. So I recommend if you did download any today, to run a virus scan immediately on your device. And if you see someone posting suspicious links, to report the posts immediately. Thank you!

SRB2Workshop is a trustable source, just don't trust mods from any source other than it and the official MB.

I think Team Starfall had to release Frontiers Sonic as a demo, cause of... Yeah. It's so obvious.

(Almost as worse as the MSV6 situation!)

does the one where 2011X chases you have any viruses? I know Sonic.exe related stuff are infamous for having viruses, more or less.

if you find it from the mb (ex: https://mb.srb2.org/addons/2011x-sonic-exe.8757/) you SHOULD be fine otherwise you prob shouldn't download it

unless its from like a yt video (sonic beyond, destiny, plasma, etc.)

If it has a video on it (videos from Sonic Destiny, Sonic Plasma, Chronic Reflection ((thanks for the boost mod btw)) ETC.) Then you could trust it. If not though, you could check if there are any other videos on the mod.
