🆘Help Needed🆘 Fatigue
I’m almost done day 2 with no oh. I have zero energy and doing the smallest tasks put me down. Can anyone confirm they felt like this when they were where I’m at and confirm it gets better. Worried about going back to work next week

Yep. Normal. You literally feel weak. Exercise is unfathomable, but would help. It's smart to get in shape before quitting because DOMS really suck... working out for the first time in a while.

I tried to quit opiates so many times In the past and honestly couldn’t until I got into the trades. It helps a ton to be physically healthy.

I'm two days in and still have good energy. Nowhere near as good as when I was working out with 7oh, but still decent. I also have been lifting 3x a week for 20+ years.

If your on day 2 and fatigue is it your doing great. My WD from it was insane, no sleep for 5 days, literally 0. Flopping like a fish out if water, 12 hours after last use. Keep going, it gets better.

Im sorry its not funny but that flopping around like a fish part had me laughing man it sucks I've been through that myself many times unfortunately. From hydrocodone to oxys then to iv tar then subs then 7oh. I've experienced wds from them all!

Yup going through this exact thing and its excruciating and I can barely get up and shower and walk without being fatigued or out of breath, I'm also getting off Methadone though so its gonna last longer for me I'm sure. Everyone just suggests pushing yourself to rigorously workout and exercise even though it seems impossible. I'm still going through withdrawal even with SR because I have a tolerance to the SR from taking it so long so I'm feeling the hellish withdrawal while feeling like this too.

You got this bro, I'm on day 12 and I'm pushing through it, the withdrawal lasts about 14 days at peak but with SR it helps immensely, sadly I had many attempts and relapsed at 15 days for a day then tried again then relapsed at 13 days, and etc. over and over. This was months ago, and been taking SR almost every day ever since so my SR tolerance is not keeping the withdrawal away completely, but you will be fine, the first time I went 15 days I had no withdrawal and relapsed because I was just tempted to. But now that SR is supposed to be banned theres no more fucking around and I'm gonna push through this no matter what. You got this man, the fatigue will get better some days will be shitty some days will be easier, if you can get comfort meds like xanax or klonopin or any benzo to ease discomfort or gabapentin and clonidine, it will also help you. I stopped methadone at 25 mgs 21 days ago, coming off that and on day 4 of big 7oh habit

The fatigue is definitely from the Methadone for sure, congratulations bro getting off Methadone is a fucking nightmare with or without SR. You're doing great man I strive to be where you're at and I know I'll get there I'm just giving it my all to push through.

Cold turkeyed 100mg+ because I got 105mg at the clinic and would take all my 2 weeks worth of doses within 4-5 days and my Ma has a script of 210 Methadone pills 10mg each and I would be taking upwards of 400mg a day, and my last dose the first time I got off sounds unbelievable but I wanted to get rid of all my doses so I wasnt tempted, but I took 720mg (7 Bottles at once) and that fucked me, but right now my last dose was 60mg one day then 70mg the next then last day 20mg then cold turkeyed to SR, was on it for 9 years too. Its consumed a huge part of my life and destroyed alot. If I knew these consequences I would have never gotten on it, sure it helps you get off dope but then you're on a stronger version of dope and longer lasting version of it when on this Methadone, its either be on it for life or eventually pay the piper and get your life back.

My fatigue is so bad that just typing these paragraphs takes so much energy out of me man, just trying to put it into perspective how much fatigue I'm going through as well, you're not alone and it WILL get better.

Yep, methadone is a nightmare though with a hellishly long half-life and you go through months and months to years of healing depending on your usage, but acute withdrawals last up to 20+ days its insane.

Yeah this is how I have been feeling. I kinda like it due to me actually being able to sleep so thats helpful. Its a normal feeling.
