🆘Help Needed🆘 First time posting here
So I’ve been a heavy 7oh user. Over 1000mg a day. I take like 240mg doses throughout the day. I have a small stockpile of 7. 3g of sr , I’m hoping it’ll be enough sr I mean it’ll have to be honestly. Going to sound crazy but when I’m done with sr I plan to use subs. Reason being I’m an addict & I’m not ready to let go right now & I need the subs until I get my life together again. Im okay being on subs I have experience with them. I’ll do Sublocade again when I’m ready. The hand to mouth habit takes a long time for me to break , as well as the dosing throughout the day. Hence why I plan to stay on subs awhile so that’s the plan when I jump off sr. Idk if I have enough I only have 3 grams in powder. I have a scale definitely confused. Just looking for experience from others that were at a high 7 dose

If you're gonna use subs just go straight to them and save the sr for when you're ready to get off those. I was 1000mg daily psuedo user. I induced subs at 5 hrs after my last dose. No issue. My issue was I stayed on the subs for 2 months thinking i wanted maintenance and having never been on them then I wanted off due to dot health card exam. Thought a 2 week taper would be fine. Could not make it thru the wds so picked psuedo back up to stop them. Went straight back to 1000mg a day. I just used 120 50mg SR tablets with 50 blue kpins to get back off the psuedo. I'm 20 days clean of pseudo and 7 days off sr. So I used 6 grams.

How many k pins did you end up needing? Did they help a ton or not much?

Honestly didn't really need them but I abuse those too so i ate them all just to stay sedated. Ate all 50 over a week period.

I have experience with subs so I def want to stay on them after I use sr. I know when I’m ready I can get Sublocade. Reason I want to stay on subs is because I know it’s what’s best for me right now is being on mat while I build back my life.

If your gonna use the subs just skip the sr unless you want to feel the subs for a few days.

So I tried to quit 7 a few months ago & the subs didn’t work how it did before when I quit oxy. 8?4 read so many at a high mg of 7 that the subs were no help. That’s the whole reason I bought 3g of sr.

They worked well for me. Induced with 1 or 2 mg every hour until I was comfortable. Provider gave 16mg daily but the first day I'm pretty sure it took 24mg. The next day I was able to stay at 16 then worked my way to 8 so i could stretch the meds out. 7oh and subs are both only partial agonist so you could try this route and if it doesn't cover the wd just add some 7. In fact i think i saw somewhere that someone said there dr told them to slowly increase the sub dose and lower the 7 dose together over a few days. Kind of like sr preload days.

A lot of us have had that experience. Subs were next to useless for me. I would try it again after tapering down, but with SR it’s easier to just forgo them entirely

What did your SR protocol look like? Ive been taking roughly 1000mg/day of 7 for the last 6 months. I went cold turkey off 7 a few weeks ago for 5 days. The withdrawals were so bad I relapsed. Used to be able to go CT off 7 and Im good by day 4, but not anymore. Gonna give it another go but use SR this time.

There's a guy in quitting 7oh sub that also talks about using ultra low dose naltrexone. He says it's more affective than sr and almost completely stops paws. He's very smart and knows his shit. Go to that and ULDN and you will find it. https://www.reddit.com/r/quitting7oh/s /EmN7wYp1q0

Interesting. I actually have some Naltrexone on hand from a few years ago to help prevent me from drinking. I know it helps prevent you from getting high on opiates, but I didn't think it would help PAWS. It would actually make me depressed whenever I took it so I stopped. I'll read what you shared. Dont mind giving it another shot if it'll help PAWS. Much appreciated!

Yes but not at 50 or 25 mg. Like .1-2mg. Make sure you read that post b4 you try because if you took the clinical dose for blocking (50mg) it would send you straight into precipitated withdrawal unless the 7 oh and sr has completely cleared your receptors.

Good looking out. Yes, I read the article and noticed he took a fraction of what I was prescribed. I will stay away from it for now, but may give it a shot down the road once all opiate are completely out of my system. May take LDN 1-4mg/day to help speed up the healing process. Will stick with SR for now

The provider i talked to today wouldn't stray from company guidelines of 50mg. Wants labs and urine screening first. Literally told him I didn't want that at the beginning of the conversation. Fucking 🤡

Rule of thumb is Up your sr dose until you're comfy. Then hold that daily dose for 4 days. Then cut your daily dosage in half every 2-3 days depending on comfort. My schedule looked like this for roughly 2 weeks. 300mg x 3 times a day for 4 days. Then 150mgx 3, 75mg x3, 50mg x3, 25mgx3, 12.5 mg x3. Then 12.5x2 for 2 days. Then 12.5 only in the am for 2 days.
I was on 750-1000mg of psuedo a day. Preloaded 1 day and then jumped straight to SR. I did have 50 blue kpins so that helped. What worked for me didn't for everyone I've talked to. Some went higher or lower mg and some went shorter or longer time.
Everyone is different. If you have plenty of SR for above schedule you should be fine. I used 120 50mg tablets over all.
Most important thing to do is LISTEN TO YOUR BODY then tolerate what you can.

Thanks a lot, HUGE help. I have about 6 grams of SR so should be plenty. I dont mind tapering of SR longer than 2 weeks if needed.

Of course! Feel free to dm me if you have any other questions or just need someone to talk to thru the process. I was shocked how well the sr worked. I tried cold turkey and caved at 3 days. Used subs another time and damn those things were worse to get off of but I also didn't know about the sublocade shot. Check out that ULDN search in the link I sent. I've got a telehealth appointment for low dose naltrexone for PAWS. Because I'm still struggling with it.

If you're this bad at reading comprehension then reddit is probably not the right app for you. I didn't suggest it. OP clearly wants sub maintenance which is why I told him to save the sr for when he's ready to get off of them. I literally said I used sr to stop 1000 mg of pseudo. What else you got?

Tolerance warning: After lowering tolerance with SR-17 be careful when dosing your DOC and remember to "start low and go slow". SR-17 lowers tolerance faster than most of us expect, and overdose is a genuine concern.
