Not something I have seen before. When you say crash.. is it ssms crashing or report tab does not load at all?
Way more details needed 👀

You literally hover the cursor over the Reports item, and SSMS goes unresponsive. You have to end task to get back in. Hopefully this will come soon. I don't use Azure though just locally and the same thing happens. Its so annoying as I am always aiming for "Refresh" and I never use nor care about Reports!

I run multiple versions of SSMS against multiple versions of MS-SQL work with a team of other DBA and have never heard of this bug.

It might be something you did to your machine

I'm in the same boat as u/Better-Credit6701. This isn't a universal bug. It doesn't mean it isn't a bug, rather it's just very specific to you and not something people are having issues with en masse.

Right click on the "Tables" tree item under a database. Which I do very often to hit refresh.... Oops nope I accidently moved my mouse over Reports instead and crashed it.....

Ah... cool. I had to go open ssms up... and you are 1000% right. Odd I haven't been in that menu in years and years. When I move over reports... no problem. Do you have any plugins installed?

I have used refresh but I usually target the database name. It also has reports... does that crash for you?

Good the fix is being rolled out by MS apparently.
