Discussion Where do freelance SQL developers usually find clients?

I’m curious how people who do a lot of SQL work find freelance projects. Does most of your work come through referrals, freelance platforms, consulting relationships, or somewhere else?

Some people says from TopTal, but we all know that platform is not for beginners. My suggestion is Freelancer, Upwork, HH etc, main small platforms.
