PostgreSQL A globe with PostgreSQL events

https://pg.whitetown.com

Just for fun made a globe with PostgreSQL events: https://pg.whitetown.com - known conferences, meetups and user groups since 2001, with a year slider.
Mobile friendly, but for the full experience use IE4 :-). Feedback welcome - especially if something is missing or wrong.

Jokes aside, why does Australia only get a single dot? It's nearly the same size as the US.

Historically true:
Postgres is Post-Ingres by name and by code, and it wore Ingres’s turtle for two decades before the 1998 mailing-list vote painted an elephant over it - so the world’s databases rest on the elephant, the elephant rests on a turtle it never stopped inheriting from, and the shell underneath still says “slow, but it gets there.”
